What is your favorite pre-workout supplement?

How come so few replies? :)

My stomach works so that I absolutely can't eat anything solid for the 4-5 hours before excercise. Otherwise I feel really nauseous and wanna vomit all over. So I have to eat well before excercise and thus I usually end up eating quite a regular lunch and go work out in the evening with that energy.

If I'm absolutely starving, some salted peanuts (cashew), chocolate (with nuts), protein bar or as a last resort... a bread with lots of fatty cheese.

No "supplements" here as in protein shakes etc. I think they're all a bunch of marketing speech and designed to make me fart a lot.

MusclePharm Assault from GNC for a pre-workout. Usually taken 20 minutes before I start. Its expensive but helps boost energy quite a bit.

I take Whey Protein in various forms. I also try to stay hydrated, (not enough to make you sick though, just don't be DEhydrated.)

Coffee? Before working out? Your poor hearts.

I've been using 1MR because I've become immune to Assault and C4 extreme. C4 just makes me sweat, I get zero mental focus from it. I prefer Jack3d but can't find it any where now around here.

Yea Jack3d got sniped because of everyone taking that stuff down by the ton. I think all 1,3-Dimethylamylamine filled stuff is heading that way too.

But I just take a protein shake. Sometimes coffee.

The 1MR is brutal on the kidneys and liver compared to Musle Pharm Assault.

Eat alot of fresh vegetables, chicken and fish, and especially try to eat local. Grass fed beef and lamb is the best. Check out www.semperfidelishealthandwellness.com for nutrition. I myself likes to do calisthenics especially while waiting for my lance or even for a game to start. I found www.bodyweightculture.com when I was looking at youtube for motivation and ideas for pullups. I would high recommend a pullup/dip bar, and they seem to be readily available on Craiglist for under $100, since they are +$200 brand new. +1 to BDU Skinless for starting this thread!
