I was browsing my old Battletech files and found several images I was using years ago as desktop background.
Surprisingly, most of these images were made by Flying Debris, MWO's Alex Iglesias himself.

So, until the market guys allow the announcements of new mechs, here is a "what-if" selection:

Enfield and Emperor (vs Elementals):
Posted Image

Hunchback with Ultra AC/10
Posted Image

Atlas II
Posted Image

Firestart
Posted Image

Quickdraw
Posted Image

Pillager (now that's a big mean mech), Hunchback and Helios
Posted Image

And my preferred image: Uller/Kit Fox with a Mad Cat/Timberwolf (strangely enough, I didn't find it in his DeviantArt)
Posted Image

No one can doubt Alex was born for this job at PGI.

You can find much more in his DeviantArt page.

Indeed. We can see the clan mechs will be as amazing as the IS ones.

I think we can have an idea of how will Alex likes to draw the Ultra Autocannons.

2 barrels = UAC/2 (supposition)
3 barrels = UAC/5 (in MWO)
4 barrels = UAC/10 (Hunchback image)
5 barrels = UAC/20 (Atlas image)

That is actually an LB-X AC/10 and it's not an Atlas...

Besides, Alex draws differently for MW:O than he does in his normal life, because he is "regulated" by art lead at Piranha.

Both wrong; it's a Rotary AC/10. Ultra Autocannons look the same as regular, they just fire twice as fast. LB-X Autocannons also look the same, they just fire cluster ammo. Rotary ACs are the ones with multiple barrels.

Oh, and yeah, it's an atlas.

Either way, the guy's art is great.

First fielded in 2765, the Atlas II was designed by the Hegemony Research and Development Department, Weapons Division of the original Star League to maintain the technological edge over the other Great Houses. It was exclusively for the SLDF's Royal Regiments. In the early 3070s, the design was resurrected by the Word of Blake when they captured Hesperus II's factories. After the liberation of Defiance Industries, Devlin Stone's coalition forces kept the 'Mechs in production.

The Atlas II is armed with an array of weaponry, including an LB-X Autocannon/10, a pair of ER Large Lasers, and a 20-tube Long Range Missile Launcher for long range attacks. For close range combat, the 'Mech is equipped with a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers and a Holly Six Pack. In addition, the 'Mech has been given CASE for both sides of the torso in order to keep an ammunition cook-off from consuming the 'Mech.

Specifically, the mech on the picture is Devlin Stone's personal Atlas II he used when he defeated the WoB.

Hrm...
I hadn't seen a LB autocannon with multiple barrels before. Those that I've seen all have the same style barrels as regular ACs.

I stand corrected.

However... Atlas, Atlas II, both atlases :)

It's normal, since teh mech is from the ***** era and there is a reason why people dislike it so much. FD simply stayed true to the original design and couldn't correct that "flaw".

Also, Mad Cat, Mad Cat 2, Mad Cat 3 and Mad Cat 4 are also all "just Mad Cats", right? :P

Sorry to quote the OP, but...
Mr. Iglesias actually drew this one as a request for me several years ago, and from my understanding it helped catch Catalyst's eye~
It's since been revamped and turned into art in the 25th Anniversary book.
By no means do I take even a sliver of credit for Mr. Iglesias, but I like to delude myself into thinking I helped a tiny bit.

Looking at KitFox, we know that Alex Iglesias can add a torso twist capability to mechs that initially haven't it. Minus one implement problem for some good clan mechs like Nova, Puma and my personal favorite Cauldron-Born.

Jenner and Cicada also couldn't/shouldn't be able to torso-twist. :D
