My Wife, my Friend and Myself have been doing a Battletech Oriented Podcast for the past year, longer if you count some older experiments my wife and I were doing as far back as 2006. so I thought I would share it with you guys

Dude, it is Gencon in Indianapolis, happens every year and Catalyst game labs is (litterally) at the front of the trade show

I did not know that. Definitely in my area of interest. Indy though...that's a trip. I guess I'm just too used to the easy trip into Chicago. Still, I might have to look into that next year. Thanks!

This reminds me of an online, fan made radio station that was started for the Matrix Online. The game was horrible, but the radio station was kind of neat. They ran music, live broadcasts of things happening in game, as well as tips and advice.

I think something similar could be set up for Mechwarrior Online a la Solaris arena events. Live broadcasting of certain games, IS news feeds (like the twitter feeds PG is doing now) and so forth. Add some music in there and I think a lot of people would tune in.

Heck, it might even be worth writing a plugin so people can listen inside their mechs/mech labs.

Weird wild stuff man, I never got into the MMO scene, so I did not know about that. if someone did something just as cool linking my podcast to such a station FOR the game I would be happy as a clam.

The folks at No Guts, No glory are also doing their own set of podcasts. Any thought on possibly doing a cross promotional collaboration?
It would be very awesome. Their thread is in the main discussion area.
