Since we're talking about this anyway, for some reason, even though dear Lord thread necromancy:
I happen to love my Raven with its BAP and sensor module. I see EVERYTHING. And I spend a great deal of my time TAGging enemies in ECM bubbles so that all of my allies are forced to focus fire against the one target they can see.
Anyway, I'm sure Jenner and Raven will be differentiated soon enough. They're adding quirks to all the 'Mechs--I wouldn't be surprised if the Jenner received some kind of boost that made it a better hunter, and the Raven a boost to make it a better sensor operator (+5% sensor range?)

Yeah, I must admit when I see a 3L without Streaks, I cheer for it.
Right now, leaving aside the ECM limitations of PGI, I believe the Jenner-K makes a better scout. The Spider-D makes a great (somewhat underarmed) jump scout.

It's called the Raven 3L with BAP and ECM...
BAP "IS" the advanced sensor suite.

I bought the module chain that lets me retain the target longer. Now I just need to afford the 6 million for the module itself. I bet that'll be deadly dangerous--a lot of the time now, I see people I'm spotting LRMs for lose target lock just a few moments before impact, so that slight boost will be of great benefit.
But yeah. I kept my ECM and BAP in my Raven, but I would hardly call it stock. Dropped the NARC beacon, boosted its speed to 130, upgraded its armor to near max, gave it DHS, FF armor and ES frame... Artemis for its SRM-6 launcher...
I might not be able to NARC anyone anymore (not that I could ever hit before, or saw an appreciable bonus for doing so), but this Raven combines the best aspects of a combat-Raven (and who cares about SSRM launchers? Seriously, if you're at SRM range and you can't hit a target, you need to practice, and the training-wheels of SSRM launchers won't help you) with a sensor raven and a speedy scout raven.
I absorb AC20 shots like they were nothing, then run in circles around that Catapult-K2 that fired them until its rear torso is nothing but a smoking hole. All while he isn't receiving support from his allies since his sensors aren't transmitting my location to anyone. It's the best time in MWO I've had in a while.
