I think a small poloroid type picture the you could import of your wife/girlfriend/husband etc... and they should show an animation of the pilot stick some chewing gum on the pic and sticking it somewhere in the cockpit would be awesome for immersion

Photographs with user-submitted textures
A toy 'mech (YO DAWG I HEARD YOU LIKE MECHS)
Icons of devotion from various religious groups (Crucifexes, Stars of David, the 8-spoked wheel, ect.)

A clipboard holding a photocopied Mech datasheet complete with heavy pencil marks blocking in the unused and damaged points.
For those who've never played the tabletop game this is what I'm talking about. It would be really awesome if it mirrored the mech you're piloting and kept track of your damage and remaining ammo.

A mirror to check out your customizable pilot (suggestionception)
Things with actual animations and effects rather than static, pre-rendered junk.

I just thought of this but what about a table with a holographic mechcommander board, disco ball, a bobble head atlas. maybe a computer in the corner that if you had a face cam you could see your self. also if you need to escape your mech you should be able to get out of the cockpit and run out if u wanted too

good lord this is an old topic, wish one of the moderators would merge all the cockpit accessory threads together , anyway I was thinking it'd be pretty fantastic if you could have a hologram reenactment of your personal best kill, I'm pretty sure that'd be complicated, and maybe not worth the work involved, but it'd still be epic, and a way to create a completely unique environment for your individual mechwarrior (I would absolutely have to pick the flying PPC shot into an awesome in my spider, of course I'd probably have to do it again since I doubt they retain video logs of every game played :()
