With the approach of Open Beta, we thought we should really start recruiting outside of our regulars.

Outcasts was established back in 2006, they have drifted from game to game, in some they made their presence truly felt, such as Pirates of the burning seas, where we lead the British coalition to win the first map on our server, or Global Agenda, where within 3 days of being formed we had already caused a stir and sparked controversy with our war targets on not one but three separate maps. Within Battleswarm we were the highest ranked guild in PvP till the day the game went down. We also played for a time in STO and were rated a good pvp guild, our most recent games have been within LoL (played to pass the time), Day-Z (Survival sim mod for ARMMA2) and GW2. We have always had a love of battle tech with some members even playing the desktop game, and so we feel right at home here on MWO.


We own our own TS server and use it daily, our requirements to join are simple:

- We ask that you are active.
- You must be aged 18+
- You use Teamspeak.
- That you have a sense of humour, (or you wont survive!).
- We ask that you speak English.

We have mainly US and UK members, and so tend to have a high online presence.
On a final note, OC isn’t for everyone, and we understand that, however we are a tight knit group and an evening on TS is often like a night down the pub full of witty banter, or crude jokes with friends. If that kind of atmosphere is not what you are after then I truly suggest you do not apply. I was about to start a new topic explaining my search for a game that could scratch my PvP itch and that I was looking for an EU based clan to join. But, giving the good ol' search one more go I stumbled upon this topic which, quite neatly, mirrors my gaming history the past couple of years (no Battleswarm or Day-Z though).

So, without further ado, I will try and list my most excellent resumé and hope to join you bunch of scallywags (Ill use the format of the Hiring hall and then add some further info).

The thing that appeals to me in MW games is the fact that you can theory craft insane warmachines, go out with friends/NPC in these mech and kick *** (or get your *** kicked and are forced back to square one). The same hold true in this game. I think I spend more time in the Mechlab trying different loadouts and looking up weapon and armor stats then actually shooting stuff.

Right now I'm not the best pilot in the Inner Sphere but I looking to join a Clan that wants to helps me get better while I try and make the team better and have some fun in the process.
