I was wondering if anyone knew what the FoV is in 1st person? Or if they plan on having an adjustable FoV option at all? FoV is Field of View. Thanks

When not scanning the interior, the Red Box seems to be the FoV of the HunchBack seen below.

Im kinda Curious here....i think in the Books it says that Pilots have a 360° FoV but in the heat of battle normaly just were able to concentrate on whats infront of them....not sure if i remember this correct.

FOV changes give players a tactical advantages. We currently do not have plans to support custom FOVs.

Hopefully it will be set back a bit and then you can have a closer to window view and an targetting/zoom view.... Wel thats what I'd like to see... It onoys me with views that are square against the window like the aircraft in battlefield 3 cuts out so much peripheral...

I think the best cockpit vies are in the ArmA series wich is natural and then if you need a better view you can zoom in and then have your optics/scope view

Thaaaaat's not good. You guys know that some players can get motion sick when their FoV is too low right?Especially when the whole Mechs cockpit is shaking from walking with the mech or gettin fired at.

I think you should include an option.

If you can't include it then PLEASE make the FoV high enough. Not like cowadoody where you are FORCED to play with a FoV of 55 which is redonkulous on PC.

That 360 degree view, was a video monitor style array inside the cockpit that showed a compressed 270 degree FoV via monitor. Apparently is was very difficult to get used to and took years for the Pilot to master.

It has been described as like "having your peripheral vision in view at all times" For most, it was very disconcerting...

It's good that advantages are a consideration.

Also consider multi-monitor support and simbuilders who might want to customize that view for their rig/Pit. I'm sure you have.

If the AC20 on a Hunchback limits is ability to look right, that should also happen to pit builders as well, but also fitting in different monitor setup is important, to techies who enjoy it.
