I'm sure that at this stage in development a musical composer has already been selected. However, I feel like I need to voice my suggestion to invite Jeehun Hwang to return to the Mechwarrior music scene. His musical compositions MADE Mechwarrior 2. That game just wouldn't have felt as epic as it did without that man's music, and listening to other tracks he's written for other projects, I'm certain that he's 'still got it'.

Sadly, music is often an afterthought during a game's development. This can be woefully evident in an MMO, where players invest a lot of time into the game and as such, are listening to the music much more frequently than they would in a normal game. I hope that you, the developers of MWO, won't make this mistake and have someone on the team that can deliver us some top notch music that will be pleasing to listen to even months or years after the initial launch.

I agree, Jeehun Hwang helped to create a great Mechwarrior 2 atmosphere and something reminiscent of his work would do well to evoke a deeper context within this game. I actually used to play the MW2 soundtrack in the background for MW4 multiplayer .

That would be fantastic.

I also recommend this guy's music. I've been a fan of his ever since I first heard Knights of the Pacific (which would sound awesome linked to Mech battles :))
