Nice little collection you have there, It would take a serious undertaking to photograph all of my minis. As stated in previous posts, I've got over 2 regiments + at least in Mechs. Aerospace, combined arms, inf, etc. And thats BEFORE I get into the Dark Age minis.

Thanks to an online friend from IRC, KaiserPanda, I also have a Dragoon Timberwolf on my desk here in front of my monitors. Can't remember the manufacture, but its as tall as my Logitech desktop speakers.

I came into this thread thinking it would be about the action figures from the mid-90s...

I had all of those as a kid, and one of my friends stole them from me. I think I had the whole set too: Axman, Hunchback IIC, Elemental, Bushwacker, etc.

They never made it to the UK. I went directly from the cartoon to the Mechwarrior RPG (I've played D&D since I was knee-high) and first encountered the toys in an advert on the back page of the Invading Clans Sourcebook.

Wait a sec, Dark Age came out with a Catapult? That's what one of them looks like. The rest of them I have. I'm going to buy some hex bases and just plant the WizKids minis on them instead of buying a ton of 'Mechs that I already have for TT purposes. Nice collection, btw. :D

Heh, they don't quite fit on hex bases.. some might.. MIGHT, but most of them will not fit on the hex base, those clicky bases are much larger to handle the mech

I do need to at least amend my previous post... I did have the only two Catapults released in Dark Age in the first set. It was so long ago I forgot about them.

Missile Kid, you're link won't work. Where did that Catapult come from?

Can not believe anyone still has these things. Makes me wish I hung on to my hunchback and summoner toys. B)

I like the paint job itself, but this is one reason why I want to try and put my DA minis on hex bases: the WizKids sculpts are, in my not-so-humble-opinion, better than what IWM produces. Sure they made some off-kilter Atlases, but overall I liked them better.

I had those two as well. My friend had the Summoner and Bushwacker, plus one of the big Timber Wolf sculpts and the Jupiter 'Mech from the Jihad era. We had a helluva time creating our own scenarios. (For 13-year-olds, we knew the canon pretty well!)

Anyone interested in Tyco Battletech, please visit my small archive site.

A bigger and better version with infos on Dougram, Unseen Ral Partha Lanceboxes etc. is already in progress.
