Basically made to use AP Ammo from a distance to slowly wear down opponents with critical hits from a distance. Largely a defense type Mech. There are some short-range-medium range back up weapons. LOTS of ammo. No XL Engine to make production cheaper and maintenance easier. Main drawback is reliance on specific ammunition to be effective. JJs installed so it can fire from ledges/heights with greater ease. Basically a large direct-fire support Mech.

Oh yeah Inferno Ammo and lots of SRM-2 to light multiple hexes on fire, in case groups of small vehicles or infantry try to get within AC minimum range.

AND C3 capable in case the Mech has spotters.

Pretty much an Inner Sphere Kraken.

Okay the name is not very creative, but overall the design might work. Basically it is a King Crab with an extra-high rate of critting and enough JJs and Heat Management to overcome the King Crab's general deficiences. It lacks LRM-15 and Large Laser for back-up, but even the original King Crab had only 8 shots with that LRM-15 anyways, and the Large Laser is not really worth skimping on AC-20 ammo (If I wanted a Large Laser/equivalent platform running around the field, I would just field a Wolfhound or Panther. )
