Could PGI please provide some sort of ignore or mute function that has a permanent feature so we do not have to be subjected to the continued idiocy and text rage of certain imbeciles in game? It is really getting old listening (or reading) the same *****'s rants or trash talk banter match after match after match.

Trash talk is OK as long as there no insult. Now if i kill someone at close range and i got a head shot. Chance are ill text IN YOUR FACE. now to me text like that is ok. But when someone says, A there my little ******, "ill ******* give you the **** like the last game ******." now yes thing like that is getting boring after awhile.
But to me the worst part is people doing this " wwwswswsddddassdadawswsdswsddaswsdasawsdssawsdasawsdswasddswawssdswawasdsewassdwasasdswsadsweassd" none stop during the game. that's anoying now because we cant even comunicated between our team.

I would be offended by "In your face." It's gloating. Yes, you made a nice shot. You know it. Please be satisfied with that.

The problem many fail to see is that the internet removes the consequences of "in your face" comments. Personally, I have thick skin and a healthy life, but some take this way too far and I fear exist in the 1's & 0's as though they are really there....

Oh well, right, PGI is busy making a meta version of this! We hope!

Are you referring to getting cored out and then claiming someone is using a hack-bot? Because you're right, it would be SO MUCH BETTER if there weren't people who stood alone at Epi on a Conquest Map and after getting hit several times and cored out by PPC fire and then starting claiming other people were cheating. And then arguing over public channel (after dead) and crying until they leave the game prematurely.

I second this request.

Most other games I play have the ability to ignore other users.

Some people are just offensive. Others just seem to want to spend the whole game ranting about whatever they think is wrong with MWO.

It would improve my quality of life substantially if I could, like in many other games, simply not have to hear them any more.
