Okay. Well I'll slap a character Bio together in a bit. I'll be wearing this dress to the ball.

@Chaos I'm not sure if I you'd want me or not, but willing to try, though out of my league with anything beyond the "(Dork) / Dark Ages" I mean. Sorry but they really turned me off to the universe when clicks and the gee-hawd came out.

Other than that good luck, I'll follow it regardless and hope you'll still allow me to post sales, Buda needs all the money we can get, as our Luck has been rubbed off as of late, in this failing economy. ;)

Nice thing about this RP, you really don't have to know much about the dark ages. I much prefer old style BT to them however. the section I know next to nothing about is the j ihad

Also chaos, I got a heavy scout I can play instead of the HSJ

introducing the Lariot-1A which also can come in a WiGe form that is faster, The Lariot-1W also, searchlights just seem appropriate for this mission. i don't know why however... i also have a wheeled version of the tank as well the Lariot-1B

Sure, get in the boat oni :D you´re all welcome ;)

@ Gamma : Sexy sexy dress :DBut i prefer a Mech or the Body suit -_-

@ Oni : Mh, i don´t like Stoner Stanley rampaging all the military ( Aka Devlin Stoner ) and the fact that logic seems to be non-existant in the Dark Ages, but i like that feeling of ... eerieness. I mean sure, you have very advanced tech and stuff but there is still this feeling of something great passed. Dunno, i like it.

@ Dal : looks good to me :D slooowly i´m getting used to the TT rules :D

Gamma, what kind of a transport do you want for the BA, fast, stealthy, or can hold its own in combat, or I can balance all 3, but that takes a bit heavier vehicle

The setting was great, don't get me wrong. Just wish they'd thought it through, the sudden change from hey let's weaponize aggro 'Mechs to the oh and by the way, now the clans are here with real 'Mechs, but wait they aren't the clans they are the new mix and match clans. It was just too damn silly in that regard, mind you I played and ran in it the first year about that it was out, but still some of the stuff just killed me.

@ Chaos The 'Mech is rather nice, looks like it would be an easily mass produced thing as well.

If there's still a slot I'd like to take it and use that battle armor I posted a few pages back, minus the flamer.

well, why don't we just use a mixed squad of battle armor, provided yours is also bipedal. you play half the squad, and gamma can play the other half.

I was hoping to go for a battle armour trooper as well. Haven't picked out a suit yet, but was thinking I'd play the freeborn daughter of a Ghost Bear Elemental and a native Rasalhaguer.

go for it, I can play the lariot's crew and a transport's crew but at this point it is probably going to be a modified version of my lemming support craft. because battle armor is rather large.

Decided if its going to be set in the Dark Age, I'd want to make use of some of the crazier fluff. So, I'm a Cyborg!

Name: Rand Andrews
Age: 31
Blood Type: Ab-
Height: 180cm
Weight: 83 kg
Mech/Battle Armor: Purifier Adaptive, slate grey in color with a single white hand print on the face plate.
Combat role: Recon, Anti-Infantry.
Non-combat roles: Great understanding of cybernetic implants. Knowledge of electronic systems. Basic Medical Knowledge.

Bio:

Born on Atreus, the former capital world of the Free World’s League to upper middle class parents Rand Andrews Diagnosed with an aggressive degenerative disease that attacked both his spinal cord and central nervous system while still in highschool and was completely bed ridden by the time he was twenty-two. Eventually slipping into a coma that his doctors said would claim his life Rand’s life was spared by a very unlikely source a former Word of Blake scientist who had been instrumental in the creation of the dread Manei Dromini a cadre of cyborg warriors who committed several atrocities during the Ji-Had.

Upon waking from his coma Rand learned of the incredibly complex surgeries and cybernetics that had been used to replace his spine. Fascinated by the technology that saved his life, but scorned by his friends and peers who were raised to fear and loath cyberneticly modified humans (a unique cultural taboo native to worlds of the former Free Worlds league). Rand left Atreus with his savior, in order to learn more about the advanced cybernetic technologies that Word of Blake had developed.

Nine years later, the 31 year old Rand is as much machine as he is man. Having developed the “god complex” so common to those with high levels of cybernetics, Rands fascination with Word of Blake technology borders on obsession, actively hunting down any sites that might possibly be connected to Word of Blake cybernetic research and development. During his travels he acquired a suit of Purifier Adaptive armor, uniquely modified to interface with his implants. (Similar to how a protomech works).

Would an Aerospace Jock be okay? Or are you planning to be more dirt-side oriented?

You would have to run it by Chaos, tis her RP. I think you might want to try a copter vs an aerospace fighter. alternatively, I would think you would have a better shot at a fighter if it was something like a sparrowhawk, aka somethin tiny.

well, we got 1 assault mech, an assault tank, a heavy tank, a transport (I still haven't actually made it yet) and 3 BA infantry. note, it is dark age, so mechs are rare, and the planet we are on is an extremely hostile environment, so environmentally sealed vehicles is an necessity.

If you do not know how to make vehicles, you can use this link http://www.solarissk...s.com/downloads

Extract to an empty folder and find the executable Jar file labelled SAW, that is Solaris Armor Werks, you can make tanks, boats and copters there. but not BA or Aerospace. in order to access environmental sealing you must be using the advanced rule set. also, setting the era to dark age makes it easier, because you have access to pretty much all non-Wobby tech.

that help?

Yeah, I'm thinking of probably just running a tech mostly anyways, just to kind of add a bit of diversity to the group of combat junkies.....
