Oh I get it. And perhaps I was misinformed on the +50% exp thing. But still, to have a package available for a limited time that is better than ongoing available packages? Turns off players like me.. and I'm a long-time MW fan. If something gives you an advantage in-game, it should either be available to others, or not consequential enough to bother me. But that's just like, my opinion, man.

Such a long time fan you missed the founders? Yeah right. We founders shelled out money to support a dream of a game, you all sat around till open beta to make a decision because you didn't want to risk your money. Now you see the game is coming to fruition your regretting your lack of decision and trying to pander your crap off about not seeing it or whatever. Own your mistake you arent making me feel bad for your indecision.

Regular players can buy premium time for the 50% boost if they want it, and they can buy hero mechs for the 30% boost (higher than the 25% founder mech boost) if they want them.
The devs have said, over and over again, that paying players won't be able to get anything bar pure aesthetics that non-payers can't get.

Founders packs where available longer than they had initially intended to be honest...

As to being better than available packages?? No so sure... Founders (top 2 tiers) had Founder Mechs available... (this part address' Masta as well) those Mechs give a +25% C-Bill bonus when THEY are used... and they can't be sold... back in closed Beta, I almost never ran them personally... now... as I told Masta... you can buy MC's... get Premium account time... (just like Founders) and then purchase a Yen Lo Wang... which gives a +30% bonus to C-Bills when used in battles... so... seems +30% is better than the +25% Founders got doesn't it?? The only thing you missed out on then is basically a shiney "founder" tag...

EDIT - also... Zeh... you JUST joined the site yesterday... so you missed the Founders sales by a big margin... sorry you missed them, but again, if you're willing to spend the money, get the MC's, get Premium and a YLW...

I havnt beat the game yet to see the credits i just now logged into the founders only single player mode.

I knew MWO was coming back in 2008. It just wasn't thought up to be an MMO back then, but as a reboot.

Several years of stalking Smith & Tinker, along with IGN about news on it. Here we are.

So as a founder if you play Yen Lo Wang you won't get + 25% from Founders on top of 30% from Yen Lo? Those C-Bill buffs don't stack?

No the founder bonus is only in founder mechs.

*sigh*... No... the +25% you're referring to is from the Founders Mechs that we get (1, or 4 of them: Atlas, Catapult, Hunchback, Jenner)... the Mechs themselves give a +25% bonus of C-Bills when we play them... play a Mech other than one of our Founders, we don't get that +25%...

Hence why I say you can get Premium account time and the YLW and basically be on equal footing as far as income goes for a battle as a Founder running the same Mech...

And remember, our Premium time ticks down and will run out just like anyone elses... and has to be replenished just like everyone else's when it runs out...
