By my count, that makes four hundred and twenty seven people (so far) on these forums claiming that their feedback was more interesting, more relevant, and more important than the average player's feedback, because they are "in the gaming industry."
That really worries me, because it probably represents 75% of the people who are actually "in the gaming industry." So if everyone in the industry is here, playing Mechwarrior and posting (lots and lots of) comments, who is making all the other games? I foresee a drought in new titles next year. In fact, now that I think about it, this may explain the problem with HL3.
But just in case all those claims are true, I also wanted to toss out a few observations that I think all the "gaming industry insiders" should keep in mind.

Seriously. These are not the Call of Duty forums, and these are not the Madden 2013 forums. These are Mechwarrior forums, so [REDACTED]. Most of us have professions, careers of our own, wives and kids and such.
So when you say you're "in the gaming industry", we know that means 2 things. [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] If your criticism or ideas are valid, they will get traction. If not, they won't. Claiming you're "in the gaming industry" adds nothing to the conversation, and doesn't help make your case. [REDACTED]
