I just didnt want to be in a house that I wasnt welcome in. I'm pretty new to this setting, and I've found that in similar games there are elitist cliques. Particularly in forums discussing such topics. It's not easy being new.

@Tiffalia, Boardwalk and Grand Base are about 120LY from each other, about 4 jumps. I suppose thats close in the grand scheme of things though.

I've decided to change my role from light - medium battlemechs to medium - heavy. I just know the Vindicator is about to be unveiled, and the Catapult is just calling me to pilot it and rain death on our enemies!

Check out this group:
Lance 1, Scout Lance: Jenner, Jenner, Jenner, Commando
Lance 2 Defender/Attacker: Vindicator, Vindicator, Vindicator, Hunchback.

Newbie to this forum too and so far everyone has been really helpful... well the Citizens of Liao have been helpful.... the other Houses look down on us and treat us with disrespect..... but soon they will feel the true might of the House of Liao!

I think battletech inherently attracts more...intelligent types. Putting RP aside, I honestly wouldn't mind playing next to players that support House Davion, since we're fans of the same franchise after all.

The other Houses have no honour, thus they do all they can to make us look foolhardy and weak. Liao on the other hand know great patience and virtue. Let them say, let them think what they like. We are quite content with biding our time until the other Houses lull themselves into a false sense of security and then they will know the true meaning of defeat.
