Hello everyone! We know it’s been awhile, but we’re working hard and these last few weeks have been mighty busy. Anyway, how about this wallpaper eh? I’d love to say that was me firing there, but sadly it was not. Regardless, it’s quite a nice view, and I’m sure I’ll see it on a lot of desktop backgrounds around here soon .

Hmm... this one is kinda MEH, IMO. Is that a Cat firing, or a Raven? Is that missles or LBX rounds? I think the Cat's arm takes up too much room in the picture. I do like to see Frozen Colony, though I'd like to see more of it, if you catch my drift.

Nice shot!

Im very anxious to have our ingame look that crisp and bright. The hazey blur takes away from the game and makes the nice textures appear to be much lower quality.

catapult default color changed to olive? It also looks more gritty and realistic I like it... stripping default mechs of color gives an actual purpose to the camos. Hunchback still has some patterns all over im lol.

it is not a CAT, it is a Raven firing on a Raven, with either LRM5 or SRM6 (i am sure for 99%)

Catapults have a more rounded nose, Ravens have a sharper, more boxy nose. The visible non-rounded cockpit gives it away too. This is a Raven firing LRMs at close range at another raven. Probably 2x LRM5 judging by the grouping.

Regardless of the mech, I'm with Zakie: please let us get the graphics looking that clear. The fuzzy, smoky blah on every map is just tedious.

The weapon pods in the side torsos really looks like the Catapult.

Looking at the pictures in the BattleMechs section (http://mwomercs.com/game/battlemechs) I would say the firing mech is a Catault. The hip on a Raven is a lot squarer and narrower than the cat's. Pretty much the same can be said for the arm. The clincher is the weapon pod on the side torso.

I still want to know why the wallpaper images that someone had to spend some time making are not linked under the MEDIA tab on the main page. Having to search through pages of announcements just to find them is a hassle.

I am trying to get their attention.
