Turisas - Battle Metal
Rhapsody - Knightrider of Doom / Dawn of Victory
Blind Guardian - Valhalla
Muse - Knights of Cydonia ("No-one's gonna take me alive" seemd very apt)
and, of course, Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
Some tracks also ignite a subconscious compulsion to play the sub-game of synchronising weapons fire to the music. Muse's 'Uprising' seems to be particularly good for this
Of course, having said all that, if I were really in the position of riding 100 tons of steel into battle, raining death and destruction down all around, only one piece of music would do (regardless of how cliche'd and over-used it is)... Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyrie'
YES!!! A muse liker, they are the best! I am not so keen on their latest album, the 2nd law, but it is not bad
I like OOS the best

March of Cambreadth - Heather Alexander
Dance of the Knights - Prokofiev
Mars, the Bringer of War - Gustav Holst
Mars, the Bringer of War. Such an evocative piece, brilliant for that epic clash of the titans.
I go for a mix myself, but you can't go wrong with a bit of metal... Judas Priest in general is just awesome, I'm torn between Painkiller and Hellrider, they're both great mech-shredding songs.
Also:
Machine Men - Bruce Dickinson
Killing The Dragon - Dio
Sacred Lie - Disturbed
Let The Hammer Fall - Hammerfall
Revolution - Judas Priest
Don't Tread On Me - Metallica
One Fine Day - The Offspring
Grinder - Red Alert 2 soundtrack
Widowmaker - W.A.S.P.
And, just for sheer 'HAVE SOME OF THIS!' value, the Hell March remix from Red Alert 3.
