Prototype for APU from Matrix Revolutions?

Saw this video and first thing I thought of was that it could be the beginnings for an APU from The Matrix Revolutions:



APUs in action:



The Raytheon setup also reminded me of the Landmates from Appleseed with the Master/Slave arms.

All we need now is cheap, mass-producible myomer to replace those bulky, delicate hydraulics and a compact power source to make at least powered armor a reality B)

battle tech APU's are fusion reactors on treads. couple hundred tons sized.
