-The muted steel doors of the aged but serviceable elevator slide open with the oiled ease of centuries of use. The thirty third floor of the Truunph Tower, a towering 80 story skyscraper on the sprawling mercenary world of Outreach named for some long forgotten real-estate mogule, is bright and open. Furniture of glass and silvery steel dominate the lobby space infront of the elevoter. Some 25' directly off the doors is a three person reception desk of mesh metal and glass top, 3 cheery looking reception bots painted in the green and gold colors of the Iron Dervish Mercenary Army, busily going about their business on phones and terminals. Stepping out onto the plush green carpet it's hard not to be drawn to the floor to ceiling windows on either side of the 25'x30' lobby space, providing a beautiful view of the cityscape's east and west of the tower. Sky cars in their lanes zipping past outside, multicolored streaks of light to fast to identify. A hovering bot floats up and wordlessly dispenses from it's top a luminescent chit of plexipaper with a brightly glowing blue number printed boldly on it. "Please find a seat, we will be with you shortly" It's mechanical automated message directs with the common politeness expected of a programed service bot. Several others are already seated in the rows of interconnected semi comfortable looking green skinned chairs. Every thrid one seperated by a small square table with various zinepads and newsplexi's. As you settle into a seat to wait, it's hard not to notice the scrolling message running across the inner surface of the wall sized windows on either side of the room, {Six ways Sideways} the motto of the Mercenary Army. A reminder that things ussually don't go as planned so you should always be prepared to adapt..-
