Since this game uses CryEngine3, Wouldn't it be possible to mod MWO to be MWLL?
I probably won't want to play MWLL anyways after MWO comes out, but...
Ya know, just another random thought...

you generally will have trouble modding an MMO. Unless you can find a way to beat the usual auto-patchers and play on a private server. Besides, crysis warhead is only ten bucks if you want MWLL.

I had a look at MWLL, it is ok, was considering getting the game for it, but after seeing it , I'm glad I did not. It is a well made thing, but not quite there. I am sure that THIS mechwarrior will be the best, and there will be no point modding it, besides, do you want the Devs to starve ? I personally want them happy and heathy to make this game B)

Why would you want to mod MWO to play MWLL? Why not just play MWLL? Besdes, both games use differant engines. MWLL uses the CryTek 2 engine, while MWO uses the newer CryTek 3 engine.

mwll only uses the first cryengine from crysis/wars, hence why its physics for things like tank driving are broken and ******.

umm... mno, FarCry used Cryengine 1, MWLL uses CryEngine 2, and the reason a lot of the physics are broken is because they have limited access to the code to fix some of the bugs... and if you have only played tanks recently, it is due to something in the latest patch that has tanks hanging up on things a lot more.

I really doubt your going to be able to mod MWO, since that would mean you would be able to create mods to unlock everything that you'd have to spend either time or money on...
Kinda pointless making a F2P then.
However, I really do hope there is a place for community-created maps as long as they reach a certain qualitylevel...

Dood, MW:LL is a beta. You are missing out on some great gameplay, which, sadly, you did not even bother trying out so your opionion is not worth much. If you had played it and said it was not there yet, then you would have had some veracity. I am sure you would have been an easy target (nudge nudge) had you tried the game, which is a BETA!

Somewhere out there, someone is making an image to this conversation going "Yo dawg, we heard you like MechWarrior. So we patched yo' MechWarrior with MechWarrior so you can MechWarrior while you MechWarrior."

Don't tempt me!

MWLL isn't my type of game, it's mechwarrior, which is great. But too first persony. Probably because it's a mod of FPS, and not a from the ground up like MWO. But I'm perfectly happy waiting for MWO.
