Hopefully now with the help of kickstarter devs will get their money so we could see this game released.

I really enjoyed playing Nexus i still have it installed on my computer and play it from time to time glad to see a remake. The one game as a space sim i just could not put down was (Tacyon The Fringe) by Novalogic. It was a space sim that for me had it all great ships, great story line, great game play. They even used some of the cgames concepts in (EVE)i would like most of all to see a remake of the game.

This Video you posted has a voiceactor for Multiple Klingons in old Interplay Games (Klingon Academy, Honor Guard and New Worlds)

And its too bad Nexus II got canceled as the Company went down ._.
maybe nexus was too underrated...
I just love the awesome graphical beauty, while have a small disk space and no need for High End hardware (at the time)

Tachyon was good but WingCommander was the greatest!

Wish they would remake that whole series, would be awesome to play with todays graphics.

So Tachyon is something like Wingcommander/Freelander/freespace/X and so on?

Is there nothing else like Nexus (despite eve) with some capital action? Oo

There are Star Wolves but altough the gameplay is ok, controls, especially mouse, is horrendously laggy.

WingCommander : First video game series I ever played on my PC. Great games, I loved those interactive movies. You don't get things like that anymore ... :P

Tachyon : Great too. Excellent story, great dialogues, much action + ship customization (which I love ^^ ).

Back to topic : Nexus is one of those rare games, that are really tactical, and don't just make you rush at your opponent. You only had a handfull of ships, carefully picked and equipped, and when you lost one, it really hurt. You couldn't just throw cruisers at the enemy until he went down like in Startrek Armada and such.
But as so many cool unusual gaming concepts, people didn't really accept it. They all want a base, some mining vessels and a battleship rush in the end. Same thing happened to Ground Control which was the greatest RTS series I ever played. Starcraft couldn't lick the dirt off Ground Control 2's shoes when it comes to tactics. But it had no base building, so it didn't sell very often -.-

Then pray to gods Andar(multiple gods = more chances!) so that devs from Most Wanted Entertainment could get from fans those additional 300k to make new Nexus 2. Not too realistic I know but hey they got 100k arleady(from just 300 ppl) and there are still about 2 months before countdown ends. At least help spread the word around a bit about this entire action.

Can you post a link with your information in it?
As far as I know all plans already canceled for years now and the copany and developer do no longer exist.

Edit: saw it now.

I would love to try a new Nexus game, I still have the first installed and play from time to time. I saw the ad for it at the same time I found the trailer for a new Descent game. And, btw, Wing Commander was the greatest game series EVER! I still have my WC1&2 install cd for my original 15 MH pc (MEGAHERTZ mind you)!

(edit) That's the 15 mh pc that was STILL too fast to play the game on!
