I got the beta key a few days ago (after the last day of the founders) and I wanted to get the into the Founder Program and buy Legendary. Now I've read that it ended BEFORE I got the key. Now that I can't have it, what do I do? I don't want to just "buy MC", I want founders! there's no way now, is there?

Why were you waiting for a key? Buying into the founders programs gets you beta access you didn't need beta access to buy it

Lotsa threads about this poppin up today. My answer is, there's no way cuz PGI already extended the Founders Program months longer than they first intended. Maybe they'll do a new package though, with some premium mechs that earn a cash bonus like the Founders mechs.

I assume PGI will offer something similar to a founders deal later on.. but I suspect it won't be exactly the same deal.

Let me get this straight you waited to long to buy into a program that has been out for 4 months and that was advertised to end on the day it ended and thats in some way is unfair to you?

there are people who learned about this game after founders packs were ended. I just never had the money to buy one. Despite my love for this game, other financial concerns have to come first.

I doubt that the same deals will be offered again. But PGI would be stupid not to offer something for all the souls now crying "Take my money, plz!". I expect that before Christmas we see a similar program offering another tag symbol, premium time, MC-Bills and "new" mechs (Cataphract, Flea, Cicada & Higlander come to the mind) with a C-Bill bonus. With something like that, they could also make extra bucks from some Founders that want these mech types.

Sorry about your not getting a Founders pack... but looks like you signed up on the site the day they ended the Sales anyhow... but, from the quote I put above... they WILL offer other promotions... just be patient and as it says, feel free to use the suggestions section if you have an idea for more...

Its hardly unfair as the founders program has been extended several times already, there had to be a limit... and eventually it was reached.

It wasnt like the program ran for 24 hours and thats it...its been going for a while, and no one who kept up with the MWO progress could possibly miss the existance of the program... at one stage I thought PGi was flogging the program too hard, barely a vid without a 20min founders ad stuck on it.

So , sorry but you missed it and really it was longer than intended and heavily advertised on each MWO video.
