Q: I've read that you guys love e-sports and competitive gaming in general. Will we see improvements to the observer camera modes such as a free-cam that you can float above the battlefield? [Jman5]
A: We have planned more systems like that, but they are more time-consuming to add than you might think. You can bet I bother people about it though. [Garth]

Thank you Garth for answering the Questions!

Had my hope up for adding "extra" armor parts to vulnerable parts like the RT or LT of the atlas to keep it dangerous for an extra second or 2 against good (aiming) players.

Thanks anyway, esp for the confirmed large present tomorrow =)

There is already one effect like this in-game. If you run a short mech through the lake in Forest Colony *just right* you get a splash effect on the windscreen that takes a couple of seconds to wash off. I've only seen it twice, but it is a nice touch!

You can also see this great effect on River City in a few spots (and if lasers are in the vicinity :D)!

2. How much in C-Bills do we start off with IF we are playin F2P ?? and is their a difference between F2P and what ever the Sub.setup for MWO is going to be ???

Just a thought but why are you guys calling this a open beta. You have to know that means release in the f2p market. I know i'll get harshed on for this but Why not call it a Expanding demo or a ever morphing demo or ... just keep the word demo in the title. I mention this because it is a perception thing. Saying demo means barebone but playable (wich is exactly were the game is). Doing that would be a get out of jail free card sorta  How could somebody say well this or that isn't in game yet and it's already open beta, well they can't it's not open beta it's our expanding demo phase. You can spin that on mulitple levels . For example we are doing this to give the world a taste of our product while we finish putting the final touches on the game "BEFORE" open beta starts. As a side effect you would be touted as a inovator since nobody has really done that kind of thing before.

Q: Also Garth are you guys going to be able to keep up with the questions once open beta starts. I mean this tread opened 2 days ago and is already 5 pages long? [Malidrin]
A: I'll probably have to cut it off sooner, or possible make a set number of questions I'll answer. [Garth]
