Poll should have an option for the BNC-3S in the 95 ton catagory. Its really a completely different mech than the 3E ... unless however the implication is that whenever we get the base mech, we get all the variants (i.e. HBK-4G implies that the 4H, 4J, 4P (already shown), 4N, and 4SP are in).

The main thing is that I am ready to pay you money for the Banshee S.

After its deployment in the battle for Terra, the Devastator remained lost to the Inner Sphere for centuries, until troops from the Federated Suns chanced upon the blueprints in a Star League base on the world of "Hoff" in 3023.

Come on it was found on the Hoff, lol; how could you not pick it, probably has a kitt onboard computer telling you how everythings nominal while the nightrider theme plays in the background as you kill people....

The Devastator and King Crab were built for two completely different purposes. While the Dev is an excellent long range sniper it lacks firepower in a close in fight which at this point in BT history is a majority of the Mech designs. The King Crab on the other hand is an area denial weapon/line holder with a thick hide and a little long range touch to keep Mechs honest.
It is hard for me to choose between them because of this striking difference in their respective combat role's. So while I do love them both I may need to vote King Crab because I've always had a soft spot for that design...........and the fact that FD's concept looks phenomenal!!

Honestly though in my recent TT games the Dev has had its *** handed to it because it can't take the King down before it closes range and unloads w/ both Auto-cannons and knocks it on its ***, but I attribute that to the other player not using the Devs range to its advantage though.

But yes both Mechs are sexy time...........May I have both in my Command Lance please? Along with my Cyclops and Atlas :)

I think my choice is clear! Rare, ugly and slow but i :) it!
City brawl with 4x LB 10-X AC and 4x Medium Pulse? Every time! :)

Bonus voting: Banshee standard

Edit: Where is the Mackie?

King Crab or Devastator. both are average speed for an assault mech, and both can pack a punch. i would probably go with the devastator for the field and the king crab for close range...as for 95 ton mechs, the banshee just doesn't appeal to me. i would rather take something well balanced like the nightstar or something...

The Devastator is one mean looking mother, and she packs a hell of a punch!

With the Devastator winning, I can just see all the 2HKing alpha strikes now. Heaven forbid they make it jump capable too.

We'll be getting the King Crab regardless since it's one of the Clanbuster mechs at Tukayyid

I voted Annihilator. Just get up close and personal and then blast them to pieces with the LBX-AC/10's and medium pulse lasers. Lots of fun!

Had to go Devastator.

As far as the Banshee goes... do want BNC-3MC. Otherwise, this thing is WAY underpowered for an Assault. And even a PPC and an AC/10 is a bit light on the dakka.

The first vote was easy - king crab - the rest was wolf dragoon stuff or star league cache mech..
.the bonus poll was pain... i mean banshee could be every thing form the 3E through the rheinsblatt towards a 3s. So i choose the complete designation BNC-3E Banshee...but you have really to implement meele combat - because this is the main armament of the BNC-3E

OK, I went with the Annihilator since I just kinda like the look.

On the line of the 95 tonners, isn't the Nightstar available at this point in time? The Banshee is fine and all, but giving the Nightstar an option gives the Gauss people are drooling over and lets the 100 ton vote go in a little different direction.

Just sayin

Has anyone noticed the resemblance of the IMP to Darth Helmet in space balls?

They will all be along somewhere between 5 and 20 years or so. We are in 3049 and all, aren't we?
