You see this sort of thing all the time in Mechwarrior online, two mechs have slightly bumped into each other and then flopped right over. I doubt anyone finds this insane mechanic fun or even logical. I really hope this is some sort of place holder until you put in the collision mechanic from every other mech warrior game where you just run into eachother and take a bit of damage. This flop over thing really ruins the game for people driving light mechs as well as they seem to fall over as soon as a twig touches them.
This just kills the mood and excitement of the game totally.
" Alright... time to kick some ***! I'm driving a multi MILLION C-Bill finely tuned machine of WAR and I will not be stopped until blood has been spi... Oop no I've stepped on a pine cone and fallen over."

I find it hilarious when the enemy team is tripping over themselves and I can take my time and core them one by one. :D
Seriously though, yes there should be some changes in the system so it will take a serious impact to knock a mech over,

Sounds like you need... LIFE ALERT... For mechs! Never be alone in the dark again someone is always just a touch away with MECH LIFE ALERT.

Two Dragons colliding - like the impact of an irresistible force and an immovable object.

But, I thought everyone enjoyed it when you run into another mech and just flop over like a fish out of water. I mean, its totally a valid tactic to equip no weapons but the biggest badass engine to rush over and HUG the other team while your team mates give them sunshine and lollipops.

I tried DFA'ing a hunchie the other day and I flopped right over on his head!
Was funny to see the jenner standing up on the hunchies head while he was moving around.
Seems collision mechanic is only basic, ie if collide with mech, do fall animation.

Thank goodness my Commando doesn't get squished because a Jenner tripped me while I was circling an Atlas.
