I couldn't find any information on whether or not MWO will implement a kill tracking system similar to EVE Online's kill mail system. Something that shows who died, in what mech, with what loadout they had, what other parties contributed damage to the victim, who had the final blow and maybe even the c-bill value of the destroyed mech. Some kind of historical record that says I participated in this battle at this location at this time, got credited for these kills, and this is my contribtion to the war effort. Anyone knows if the game has any of these functionalities?

So, what kind of external third party league integration is being considered in relation to the community combat? –Pht
[BRYAN] Since MechWarrior® Online™ is by nature a competitive game, we’ve designed all aspects of gameplay to feed back into a variety of scoring systems to generate ladders, rankings/leaderboards, and statistics. We do not plan to support private matches or leagues at launch.
