I have to say the patch is good in numerous ways.
First and most important:
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT, first time it actually works on my computer. Now i can play in between 15-20 fps, instead of the 8-10 of before.
Second. The new economy change has done one thing right, now it is trully equal to play assault than to play a light. That is wonderful given the usefulnes lights have over assaults i dont feel penalized anymore for bringing my atlas and getting full attention from the enemy.
Finally i did see a dragon die and it was what all the death animations need.
It was running down the volcano side. I killed it mid run and then it didnt stop dead like other mechs. It continued semi-flying-falling from the side until it crashed with the ground and sort fo slided a bit, like a plane crashing.
After that i stopped and said WOW.
SO implement this for every mech. If someone is running 140km they should keep the momentum of the racing speed and crash into the ground like planes.
So to celebrate, I did my first expense of my founders MC getting the new years ornaments for my mechs cockpits. It was the best party decoration btw.

I don't actually think its a good thing that there is no drawback to always rolling assault.
Once they fix the lagshield there won't be much point in playing anything other than an Atlas D-DC.

Other than the 500000 assaults in every match I have nothing bad to say about this patch.
My fps has increased substantially and I'm not getting punished quite so severely for being stuck with terribad teammates.
