I would like to see a new Game Mode to can play longer MechWarrior. I never reached the limit from 15 minutes.
I think about a Game Mode with Respawn function and a game duration about 30 to 45min. Game Mode could be like Conquest and u can respawn at the starting spawn who isnt capable. Will be great to change the Mech in this Game Mode as well.
These are very light-minded ideas and need to discuss the details.
New And Longer Playing Game Mode

I think just adding MFB functionality to the existing bases would do wonders to extend game duration.
In Assault, bases need to be recapturable if partially captured by the enemy.
In Assault and Conquest, powering down inside the square of a fully owned, friendly base should begin repairing and rearming your mech (replenishing armor and ammunition only, not destroyed components or damaged internals). They look like miniature factories, after all.
I would also support a limited respawn mechanic for some gametypes.

I def see the need for a more in depth game mode once they go with a 12v12. I think a repair mechanic and resupply will change the meta of battles and also make capturing the points more important. Personally the new conquest mode feels like a TDM 99 out of a 100 drops. Granted since there is no re spawn most modes will always have some kind of TDM factor, It would be nice to actually have a viable reason for getting a capture point.
Perhaps even adding some kind of multiplier for finishing the drop with so many of the available capture points would be nice. Can add capture point bonus ex = 5k creds. If your team ends the match with 3 of 5 you get a 3x bonus making it 15k creds. Apply to ex bonus as well. Food for thought.
kthxbye

Lovin' the idea of a Repair/Rearm area to make the matches last longer (especially with the "recap" mode for your own base), but I'm completely against respawning during a match. MWO has a pseudo-realistic feel to it at the moment, and I completely hope that the Devs continue to make the game more realistic as time marches on (BRING BACK REPAIR REARM COSTS!!) - having people *poofing* back into existence once their Mech has been destroyed would be a huge step backwards for this game.
