And now for the Liao mech. Steiner has Atlas, FWL has Awesome, Daviots have Centurion, Kuritans have Jenner and Dragon.

We need a proper mech to fight in, too. :)

You have the catapult...

But hrm, pretty nice design on the Awesome.

Minimum range is a *****.

This thing is going to be in for a world of hurt in the stock config if a hunchie sneaks up on it. Its going to need some serious protection from other mechs. An Awesome/Atlas team would be mighty nasty though.

This mech looks good. I am glad the awesome is here so it's fan boys get their mech and hopefully shut up. j/k . I like this mech it is a killer in long range. Only real problem is min range. We will have to see how min. range is handled in game.

Great design. The mech looks like it's from another age in that it does have less "doodads" on its skin, just large flat interlocking pieces of armor.( Less patchwork I guess ?) At first I missed the rounded shoulders but the slopped armor look is growing on me.

Now the FWL freak colors on the other hand ... :)

Can't you just see that huge four-fingered claw clamping down on the beak of a wayward Jenner and giving it the heave-ho to about 50 meters away!

Wow....I really like this one.

Is it me, or maybe just the pose, but the torso reminds me a bit of a Zeus. Maybe its the sloping shoulders.

Great work on this one guys. A reboot that is in the spirit and aesthetic of the old design, but still its own entity.

I love it and it looks a LOT like other FD designs..

Compare the above with the FD design.. DEFINATELY a bit of change.. but in a good way.. like the cockpit is tighter..

I was deathly afraid of what it may look like given the MW:T treatment of the Awesome..

As for shutting us up.. You wish..

LOL Chuckie!! I think it looks much cleaner and practical, and mechanically fluid, in a "You're Gonna Die Now" kinda way, ya know? Now, my thoughts on the "classic BT" artwork is nothing but respect. It was cutting edge, it was looking at the future with the best imaginary device and knowledge the brain could put together, an astute and cunning optical war candy in its day. Like The original Star Wars, still awesome, raw and classic.

Just Like” the classic BT artwork, I think the new Awesome includes all the same future reaching, cutting edge, cunning aptitude to make a more realistic War machine, while still containing the spirit of the original Awesome, as I see it. The fella members here one quarter my age, have more understanding of battle weaponry, than I did going into boot camp, it is only reasonable that a mech should display these changes in awareness in such wonderful techish art. My 2 cents worth, Good Work, Like it!!

I like the look of the art, sorry trolls. I'm sorry if it doesn't look just like grand pa's Awesome. Grandpa's pick up looks different than it did 25 years ago too. :)

Big fan of the awesome here. Glad to see it. Not sure I want to drive it as much as shoot at it now. The cockpit is smack dead center CT for snap shooting. This thing looks like it will trade hands frequently from headshots, I guess that is why everyone will have one.

Well, I like it.

It really bears the Iglesias' touch, that's for sure.
But we really need to take it in the repainted Art subforum and give it a paint work-over! :)

Still, there are those prefering Awesome's more classical look:

Can I ask about your thoughts on Capellan mechs Alex? :)

Just what you think of them in terms of performance and look.
We saw your older Vindicator remake and it was amazing, can we expect same level of detail on any Capellan mech you will (maybe) make? :)
