Also many older, if not just many, gamers remember one or more features that were promised/planned/rumored to be in <insert infamous game name here>. And IF it was delivered was horribly implemented.

The dev team is quite right to hold their cards close to their vests. This way the epic qq and irresponsible raging will be one less thing to deal with on launch.

So true. While we will give accolades, we will tear each video to shreds and build it back up again. Each video would be like a sugar cube dropped on anthill. Plenty of activity, but plenty of chaos too, who wants to subject their work to that level of criticism half way through the dev cycle?

Screenshots and videos are worth more than gold. More will coming soon. There is a master world domination marketing plan.

If previous MW games are anything to go by the single hardest thing to do in the game at this stage in development is to add new 'mechs. There's a good chance that the Awesome doesn't exist as a 3D model yet, and if it does, it's likely to not be rigged, setup with hard points for weapons, properly scripted so it can lose body parts, etc.

It takes a LOT of work to add a 'mech to a game due to the nature of them. It's not like an FPS where you can pretty much put a new skin over some bones, because typically the only time they lose limbs and such as when they die; plus the majority of 'mechs with torso twist mean you're almost tracking two characters tied together. It's rough stuff.

By "more videos" I mean additional videos. New videos. Videos we have not yet seen. Videos OF things we haven't seen. See the theme here? :D

Or, if we can't get a new video yet, at least some more images of the in-game assets. Full resolution in-game shot of the mechs revealed thus far. How about in-game shots of the Dragon, Centurion, Commando, Catapult, Awesome, whichever ones have the model finished. Eve if none of them but the jenner, hunchback, or atlas have complete models, we could still see some new high-res stills of these mechs.

No, this is a bad time ofr that idea. Marketing like that gets in the way of actually making the game. Not all of those mechs are in as modeling uving, textuing, and weighting/setting up the skeleton, animating, and more, plus importing the mech into the game are all very tike consuming. In addition, people posting on this site are all going to play this game, they don't need to market it to us.

I would rather the majority of their efforts are focused on making the game. They have an extremely short development time in order to get the game released in summer, Making movies is a distraction and we can wait. Patience is a virtue.
