After beta, what system will be used on this game, will it be true free to play leaving cosmetics to premium users or pay to win system locking out tech trees and superior mechs from free players?
That would give us a ideia how many players we would have on release.

Short term, a player who pays will likely cream an equally skilled free player, everything else being equal, so it's pretty much pay-to-win for the first week or so. (Don't listen to the naysayers who insist it's a black-and-white issue.)
That just how it is in beta. though. if PGI manage to nail the balance, and make the trial Mechs at least as good as the best over-powered flavour of the month, then the model they've chosen will be an excellent example of a true free-to-play game.
Fingers crossed.

Gausspults? Ammo-dependent and the limited horizontal traverse of their arms can cause problems when the enemy closes to knife-fight ranges (ie; what a lot of light mech pilots'll be doing).
Atlas? Big, slow target, not the fastest at turning; Hunchbacks are manoeuvrable enough to bring one down once they get close.
Whatever you're piloting, it's going to have weaknesses that can only be shorn up by another player or a lot of personal skill. That's the design intent, at least, so anything that breaks that mould will hopefully get fixed after a patch or two.

Untrue. This patch introduced a pay only mech. The Yen Lo Wang. As soon as they introduce a pay only mech that is actually any good the game is p2w.

Shame the OPs first posting has to be the dead horse issue of F2P vs P2W.

because the YLW is noticably OP?? I'm confused by you saying an exclusive variant is "paying to win". By your logic, the Founder's program already declared this P2W, since they're paid exclusives....
Fail.

CN9-YLW
Torso Twist Speed Yaw: 25
Torso Twist Speed Pitch: 14
Arm Turn Speed Pitch: 60
EVERY OTHER MECH IN THE GAME
Torso Twist Speed Yaw: 20
Torso Twist Speed Pitch: 11.25
Arm Turn Speed Pitch: 45
It is also the only mech in the game able to use XL Engine and AC/20 at the same time. Either of these may become the case for future mechs, but this is the info we have available at the time.
As this is answering a question about the game, based upon the information we have available, and not merely feedback regarding the Beta - I don't see General Discussion being the wrong place to discuss this.

Fail.
Mega fail.
The founders mechs are the same variants everyone can get. In fact this patch changed them from being "founders JR7-D" into just JR7-D and haveing the same Mech XP tree.
The YLW has hardpoints that yo can't get on the free Cents and faster torso speed plus a larger max engine. Its still a terrible variant but it is no longer true to say welfare warriors can get all of the items that have a tactical effect. This is in spite of PGI claiming the opposite in a PCGamer interview.
“Anything that would affect or give you a tactical advantage, you can’t purchase with real cash. You have to earn that by playing the game,”
This statement is now false.
