So it seems as if MWO will be using the latest and great anti aliasing algorithm TXAA it can get rid of jaggies better than 16xMSAA but only have the performance hit of 4xMSAA atleast according to this site. http://news.softpedi...ly-260273.shtml also some unofficial info on TXAA http://timothylottes...-txaa-info.html

And TXAA only comes with the brand new nVidia GTX680. I guess you will have to activate it in the driver, to make it work.
There will not be much difference between forced TXAA through the driver and ingmae support for it.

As far as I know there is no game engine that knows this form of anti-aliasing even exists. And because MWO will work on a cryengine3 platform, wich already provides excellent graphics, my guess is, that the devs will not work on implementing it into the engine and instead work on the game itself.

That appears to be something worth considering if you are in the market for a new computer or just new components. I, for one, will be pondering this.

Well all cryengine games will be supporting TXAA in the future but it is a brand new AA algorithm so of course no games currently gave it but it does seems as if MWO will be the first.
