I'd check sarna (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Main_Page) for the mechs already released, im sure there are some variants which have what you're looking for.

Then just hope that variant is in the game!

Jagermech has 4 Autocannons, so that should have a few ballistic hardpoints.

The Jagermech is probably the best candidate for a ballistic-heavy 'mech in MWO at this time. Its prime variant, JM6-S, has at least 2 ballistic mounts in each arm.

I would have to agree with the Jagermech, they say 2 ac2 and 2 ac5, which is minimum 4. I'm waiting for see the moving at 10kpg, having 1 ton of ammo, and no armor, 4 gauss rifle version.

i count the kraken prime as "unseen" for he violates constuction rules. per rule every weapon has to be bought with ONE (exept MGs) ton ammo at least. 10 uac 2 with 4 tons of ammo would be useless under regular rules. they are invented to PREVENT things like this for a reason...

Cat-K variant of the Catapult has 2 machineguns. That's a ton of weapons (machine guns are 0.5 tons each) :)

Realostically however, that's 2 ballistic hardpoints, you can take out the PPCs and put in a pair of Gauss probably . (havn't done the math)

Right now Jagermech is the way to go if u want 4 available ballistic points, depending on variant.

Only other I can think of with as many was the Dragoon Annihilator (4x AC/10) or the
Kurita Mauler (4x AC/2) - but these 2 are not in game as yet.

@verybad
they would be in the torso then. and in the vids the torso turns realy slow compared to instant arm movement - i realy like it! now putting weapons in arms starts to make much more sense!

4 Gauss weapons are 60 tons. The cockpit is 3 tons, the Gyro at least one ton. Endosteel chassis at least 3.5 tons..Nope, no 4 gauss for you.even with NO engine.

im not one for flashy colorful lights either but i like lasers because i never have to worry about running out of ammo or my weapon missing if my aim is steady.

Whaaaat, you didn't know?
the 4 gauss rifles will be the clan flavour at 13 tons each and the Jagermech will be from Mechcommander that weighs 70tons.

Also they are going to add some anti-gravity pods that function similarly like what heatsinks do to heat but with tonnage.
