<---

Spelled without the space... Someone already registered the unspaced version. Grr.

Used it in VirtualWorld. Used it in Mechwarrior 2 and beyond. Used it in Tribes. Used it in Tribes 2. Had to tack a number on it for Xbox Live...

Used it as a handle whenever I could, and when I couldn't I looked for any alternative spellings first.

For MechWarrior it was Gravy. Love the pods.

Back when I played Day of Defeat I went by Father Schlitz.

I'm PirateLincoln on PS3, et al.

And, obviously, I'm Samuel Graves on here. Gravy still works as a callsign, though. :)

Hmm... Tank it will be since 1997 and thanks to 7Th Legion, never will change it.
Spoiler

Before that.. well I used lots of random words in 3 letter arcade machines and was any without call-sign.

I didn't play MW until MechWarrior 3, and didn't own one until MW4. As such, all I understood was that Clan stuff was better. Got a little into the lore (mostly "Legend of Jade Phoenix" and "Twilight of the Clans"), and decided to go with "Death Khan," a play on "DEFCON" and of course, the Khans, who led the Clanners. "Death Khan" followed me through pretty much any multiplayer game at the time (such as the first Halo).

However, after playing a little Neveron with the Skye Rangers, and eventually Lyran Commonwealth, I saw the vast wealth of lore the Inner Sphere had, kind of got irritated at how biased MW4 and MechCommander 2 were against House Steiner, and threw in my lot with them. Went by "Steiner" in some non-Battletech RP circles, then did a little research to find "Alistair" (the Archon who devised the plan to steal Mackie plans from the Terran Hegemony's factory on Hesperus II) when I decided to head back into BattleTech around the time I discovered MWLL.

Back in the days when Duke Nukem 3D and Command & Conquer: Red Alert were relevant, I played under the name Razor. When I started playing Quake 2 and Tribes, I switched to ShotgunWillie, which I've played under in everything since then except World of Warcraft and Star Trek Online, which I played as Kaelland.

DJC-Reaper here, One of the first with MercJohns, Ogre, DethDealer et al. Was a lot of fun those days, I still remember going for my Star Captain rank vs Ogre, as well as planet wars where my wingman, Dethdealer, kept laggin and I had to fight 2v1 to save our planet. Memories LOL

My first nick was "Atlas" for that huge chunk of metal that was the BEST (hey, I was young) machine you could buy in Mechcommander.

A few years later, puberty hit me... and I needed something that better matched my actual gender xD
-> Atlessa ever since.

I particularly like the fact that apparently I'm the only "Atlessa" on the whole internet.
At least it was never taken when I tried using it anywhere.

Rebel Magistrate, RebelMagistrate, or rebelmagistrate. Always have been, probably always will be at this point...

I was listening to a lot of Jimi Hendrix and it was around the time that the Experience Music Project opened in Seattle.
So I used PsYcHeDeLiC in MW3, Tribes and SoF2 (where I met my wife). DL (Death Legion) was my first and only MW3 clan.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's I used Zaphod Beeblebrox, then after more and more Zaphods started popping up on the net, as Douglas Adams book became more popular, I switched to ExSlyder, and have been using it since the early 90's. (I'm having flashbacks of playing Battletech on my Sega Genesis)
