Just tossing in an idea I'd like to see, in the form of "strategic" capabilities. I'm sure we'll see some in the form of "information warfare" such as UAV-type things for detecting enemy units, but it'd also be cool to see things like orbital bombardments/long-range artillery strikes (NOT like WoT, but an area-saturation effect, including variations such as smoke screening, EM pulse to temporary disable sensors, etc), a "tactical drop pod" ability that allows a lance to deploy anywhere on the map via a small drop pod instead of starting in their team's spawn area, and other expensive, one-off abilities that spice things up a little bit.

The current 'Game' link at the top has a bit on that and seems to suggest those sorts of things will be included so fingers crossed :)

CoD rewarded players with high kills with even more kills.

I was thinking more like Battlefield 2 or 2142 where a comander can spot, assisat with vehicle drops, and also artilliery certainly. A system designed to give leverage to the players through careful use ... not like CoD agreed, that was horrible.

I still believe that such assets need to be captured or held on the battlefield though which makes it even more strategic.
