Although there have already been a few threads throughout the forums discussing Battletech Novels, I've not found one covering Audiobooks. There was one post that did mention finding them in their local library. However, I found 6 Battletech Audiobooks availale for download both through iTunes (iPod, and iPhone compatible) and through Audible.com (support for Kindle, Android, Blackberry, iPhone, as well as Windows and Mac PCs).
If you should decide to download them, please be sure to listen to them in the following order, as they preserve the BT timeline.
Wolves on the Border (3023 - 3028)
Heir to the Dragon (3018 - 3040)
Lethal Heritage (3049 - 3051)
Blood Legacy (3051 - 3052)
Lost Destiny (3052)
Double Blind (3058)
This may be an easier way for those of you who find that you don't have the time to sit down and actually read the novels. Now you can listen to them in your car, during breaks and lunch at work, heck, even working on your car out in the garage! The only downfall, is that you start 7 novels into the series according to the timeline. So if you DO have time to read, read them first.
Kaemon, this might be a nice add-on to your New Players thread. It may offer the new players a way to get a little BT background in a more user-friendly manner rather than try to find the time to actually read them.

I love audio books for the last 14 years I had a two hour drive to and from work. Amazing how listening to audio book made that time just fly in fact allot of time if I was in a good place I would just sit in the car when I got home and listen tell I got through a good part. If you havent listened to audio books nowadays it is allot different than it use to be, I cant vouche for BT books havent heard them, but other books I have the readers, some are proffesional voice actors, dont just read but do voices accents such..

I've listened to a few of these... Blood Legacy, Lethal heritage, and lost Destiny... they are entertaining, but I think It's worth mentioning that these recordings are abridged versions, which means they don't contain the complete text of the books.

unabridged or ****!
But it does make me want to look up the actual books for iPhone/Pad/Kindle though.
Only thing that keeps me away from Audio books is the price. usually twice the cost of a hardback.

I listened for a bit to the BoK audiobooks, it's funny when the reader does female voices.
