If you had the ear of the Devs what would you fix and in what order?

1) Gotta be the netcode
2) Reported Bugs
3) Competitive play which lines up with lobby and Grouping
4) Lobby
5) Grouping

Netcode needs to be tweaked. Anyone who plays regularly realizes this.

Bugs that have been reported for the longest time.

3, 4, 5 - They need to start building community or the fans won't play.

Competitive play gets us there the quickest and it's still in line with the fundamental aspect of the game. Team play is important and PGI should embrace the concept of league play. If nothing else, its free advertisement.

Lobby - seriously, get the people talking and grouping. The more time they spend in the MWO client, the less time they will spend in other games. It'll help capture the audience.

Grouping - playing in a pickup group is fine, but PUG vs TEAM is horrible. I'm sure we've all been on both sides of that and we know that in order for the open beta to be successful, TEAMs will turn off new players. Why oh why do you put us through this PGI when the fix seems to be something as simple as allowing organized grouping. The competitive players all want this. The PUGs don't want to have to play against TEAMs and constantly loose. NOT fun either way.

MWO Community, what are your thoughts?

imho gameplay related issues come first before the community additions

Agree with all of those. However, another big fix that's needed asap is the economy. Everything was increased in price except for engines. However, the amount we make per win OR loss feels considerably less. I don't even think I break even with my losses now. They need to up the amount you make in game or go back to the older prices. Hope they find a fix soon.
Also DHS doesn't seem to work and I spend like 1 mil on that T_T

What I want them to work on first? optimizing their damn engine. I'm sick of dropping to 4fps. Every single patch my performance has dropped lower and lower.

The new repair costs are absolutely awful. If you own an assualt mech, you have to grind a few matches with a trial mech just to have enough CB to repair and play another match with it again. The game should encourage players to buy their own mechs, not force them into using crappy trials.

Again it's a easy fix that will be implemented with open beta

This too, the one patch that was supposed to "improve performance for minimum spec players" actually dropped me from ~30 FPS down into near unplayability, and subsequent patches have all but made it a slideshow...

Fix this and the economy first, please!

Because we all know that THIS is a great solution to keep people interested in that game + it will solve so many problems.

I gotta ask. Where exactly did someone stated that the economy system is about to change with the start of the open beta?
Been rolling through the first pages and haven't found any clues.

If they took a serious swipe at that top 5 and added two new maps and 4 new meks (1 for each weight class) and addressed the economy we would actually have something to build upon.

1) net code ( its a online game, netcode needs work first)
2) multiple framerate issues ( its fast, framerates are irritating to play with)
3) major bugs
4) minor bugs
5) economy adjustments
6) new content

2) Reported Bugs

UH that covers everything. That would even cover the ultimate question with the answer of 42.

I'd say none of those things are any more important than any other. All of that needed to be done before release to the public & definitely before permanent resets of funds. One thing that's not on the list is that the game needs all of its content inside the game, not a bunch of 3rd party junk opening up half the time a button is clicked. The most notable issue in that regard for me is VOIP. Hawken has a working in-game VOIP system where you just push to talk & you talk. I'm not sure if everyone hears you in all gamemodes but they have integrated VOIP. No 3rd party windows opening, now extra **** to set up. I set my PTT key & it works when I push it. Funny thing is that so far MWO is all team based. Hawken has individual Deathmatch as well as Team Deathmatch & a couple others. One called Siege & the other is Missle. I find MWO to be so much more fun. I wish it weren't so damn broked.
