The closed beta's been good, but I'm looking forward to the continued new content of an open beta and some big new additions like factions. Also I won't complain about shooting up some noobs =).

On the other hand, I've got a couple friends I want to bring into the fold.

I can be timid and very soft spoken (sorta' why I haven't contributed to the beta discussion at all and have very little posts), so at those times I might not fit in with a lot of people. Haha~ I'd like to play with a Premade, but I don't know if I'd really fit in. I appreciate it though.

This is an interesting premise. While having a group of known players can be beneficial, especially for like an informal little group to ignore previous merc or house alliances, just as not having to deal with someone toodling into the middle of the fray and dying instantly. Or asking why they overheated when they walk into the caldera and fired every laser they had. That being said, one still has to be understanding to at least the more intelligent members of the n00b community. Without the n00bs eventually figuring stuff out, the game would die. So I like the Idea of just having a list of people who are experienced, as long as it's not used as a division in the community or a "holier than thou" list, and you still lend a helping hand to someone honestly struggling.
