TBH, I'm torn on the matter of Open Beta. Sure, that means that a lot of my opponents won't be very good and I'll rack up kills more than I already do (mostly lone wolf with 3.25 K/D despite running into premades all the time), but it also means the challenge won't necessarily be there and that my teammates will often suck.

I guess it's a case of six up, six down.

On the plus side, there are going to be a LOT of Dragons and Catapults and Awesomes (oh, my!) that stand still to fire. I'll get to educate them on the need to move, since a gauss and two ER PPCs tend to core a cockpit quite nicely.

Poor attitude, guys.

The original post doesn't call for anyone to hate on new players. It calls for closed beta testers to make friends with each other for support and camraderie. You can be a friend to the old guard, and welcome to the new at the same time when you encounter them. They are not mutually exclusive attitudes.
