Now I'm gonna get a HOTAS for this game, and i'm looking into the x52/x52 pro. Is there any chance of support for support of the MFD on it? If so, i would like it to show either damage (via HTAL or Picture) or my loadout and weapon reload times.

I hope so, I have been manually configuring my X52 for Mech4 Mercs for years now.

Having it set from the manufacturer would be a first for PGI!

I will be running 2, Cyborg F.L.Y. 5s and going to get peddles for MWO also. Even if the don't have control profiles its still going to be awesome to be able to map all controls.

I actually just picked up the FLY5 last night, been enjoying it a lot. I do wish the hat was a bit higher up, and there was an actual main button 2 right below it, rather than the 4 wing buttons... but it's coming along.

I've been playing back through MW4Mercs, trying to get used to this... and wow, it is a hella srs difference between mouse & keyboard.

I'm thinking of getting a Nostromo gamepad for my left hand, and running the FLY5 in my right.

Not sure bout the Fly there. But I do love my Razer Nostromo. Saitek X52 Pro for me. I just hope it can take the heat!!!!! As for MFDs such as the 1 on logitecs keyboard that I suckered into buying? I just don`t see any widespread dev support of the MFds on game periferals. It sucks that it basicly comes down to slight of hand marketing.... "look what our MFD loaded game controller can do". If..... IF the game developer supports it.

Imho, it should be up to the game controller developer to get in touch with the game Developer team to get the ball rolling on MFD support.

Did the standard version x52 have games integrate the display? I thought it was only the Pro edition... don't recall having FSX showing anything with mine.

It would also be great if we could use Track IR with this game

i'm actually not sure about the normal X52, though i'm leaning more towards the X52 Pro. and at MAX, i was thinking that maybe a great idea for TrackIR would be to aim the arms, like on an Apache helicopter...

To DarkTreader

I will be using the 2 FLY5s for the multiple axsis of the torso twisting and also having individual control of the arms. So one is going to control the arm axsis and the other for torso. When I get my peddles the will be for forward and backward movement and throttle.

I have the standard x52, and it does not really have an integrated display. All my mdf shows is the time, which profile I've selected, and using the clutch to tell me what I've programmed each button as.
