Me and several guys where talking about the c-bill system and are wondering how exactly it's gonna work. If our mech gets damage, do we have to pay for the repairs, or is it like in the campagin/instant action where you get full repairs after a match? If we lose a mech, not just in missing a limb, but the entire mech ( example: fusion core overload ), and if so, do we have to pay for it or do we get a baerly working hunk of metal or ( worst yet )nothing at all? Another thing we where talking about is wether there's going to be any salvage during the mission. Say you're fighting a guy and you blast an arm with two ER large lasers off and then you lose your AC 10 thats in another arm, do you get the other guys weapons and armor ( if there is any ) or do you still get your stuff at the end and he gets his stuff. The last thing is how are you going to allocate c-bills? do you chage purely on how they did or is there a flat rate plus how you did?

Hopefully, it doesn't work like real money at all. If it does, come game time, the only thing affordable will be peace.

This has been touched on, but no specifics have been given yet. It will have to be fair and equitable to all. They are going to want customers to stay so expect a well thought out system.

The question on repairs is how easy getting C-Bills is. If you get a very steady flow of C-Bills, I don't think it would matter if i had to replace a weapon system or even an entire mech every once in a while. But if C-Bills are insanely difficult to get you'd see me never die .

Same as any other money - you earn it, then you spend it.

Well the Developers have said that if Our mech gets destroyed it'll be repaired to a barely function state for free with the rest of the repairs costing C-bills. We will never lose a battlemech due to combat. As for earning C-bills, I'm hopeing for a flat rate just for taking part in a battle with extra based on how well you did and/or if you side won the fight.

Things you can purchase with C-Bills:

House Kurita: Samurai swords. You know what for...CHARGE!

House Davion: New shoes. You will need these for walking little old ladies across the street. Oh yeah, and capes.

House Liao: Citizenship and hopefully some medication for the Chancellors.

House Marik: More purple spray paint

House Steiner: A dietician

FRR: Mead

Merc units: Bandaids

Things not available for C-Bill purchase:

1. Pride
2. Respect
3. Dignity
4. The ability to look good while piloting an urban mech(see #1,#2, and #3 if you have questions about #4)
