I know there has been mention of adding contracts to the game before. But the PGI Devs have stated that, as of right now, many additions are too complex to be easily implemented.
Therefore I propose a simple addition to the game where the only two things need to be added: UI and some form of tracker.
All I propose is to add a "Contract" menu where you can take a single mission to complete a certain subset of objectives and, upon completing these objectives, you are awarded c-bills on top of the normal mission payments. My thought is that only one contract can be active at a time and that non-subscribers will have a limited number of contracts per day (you decide how high).
These objectives could as simple as "Capture the enemy base" or "Kill at least three enemy mechs in one round" to more complex objectives such as "Survive and win a round on the next five matches" or "Kill at least four mechs and get assists on all other enemies."
My thoughts are that these will help those who complain about the grinding aspect of the game by giving them a way to get money faster. At the same time, grinding for massive amounts of money will not be possible either, to alleviate those fears: the more difficult the contract, the more it pays but the longer it takes to earn.
