Not too bad, but it's going to get nothing but worse over the next 12 hours or so.

With any luck the storm won't cause as much damage to any of us as PGI's patches do to this game.

So im in Ocean City Md and ive gone about 30 miles inland but i don't think it really matters where you go, pretty sure were not gonna have power for a week or so because the elect. companies out this way are pathetic, took them 3 days to do 5 min worth of work last storm we had (flip the breaker on the elect pole..) got everything i need but not looking forward to 3 days or more of severely crappy weather.. might be weak but its huge... they said 20 ft waves on the great lakes and my jaw dropped... so in the words of one of my fav movies... " ITS COMING RIGHT FOR US!!!"

I guess Mother Nature decided to lower the player numbers for open beta debut. Best laid plans and all that. Don't take our lack of participation personally, PGI.

My town is an island of sand thats literally 3 blocks wide with the ocean to the front and a bay on its back.. , it really wouldn't surprise me if it was gone when this is over

Its one thing to prepare for the hurricane, the aftermath is another story. Thats why they say two gallons of water for each adult per day, stock up on non perishibles, medicines, and food for your pets. Make sure your wallet and gas tank is full, in case power goes out and you may not have access to gas or cash for days.
I don't know if you live in the hood or the other extreme a gated community, but be prepared to protect your life, wife and property. Some cops and staties maybe out and if they do, they are already undermanned, outgunned and have to cover a large area and thats before emergencies such as this. I would keep in touch with your neighbors in your community about help afterwards such as where to get water and ice. All this rambling is what comes to my mind first, and from experiences and doesn't include all the things you should do. For you, your family and everyone in Sandy's path I hope you are safe and dry, and stay out of harm's way. God Bless you all!
