Melthir stated here, that "You squak generally if your enemy team is bad", so my question is:

What kind of sound do you make if your own team is bad? (Bad day, got up on the wrong side of the henhouse.. etc.)

We still squawk. We're proud that we're bad a robots and on average still better then 99% of everyone else. From the old thread, someone made the connection that goon losses are like that one scene in Street Fighter:

That was me, after someone popped up to talk about the time three weeks before they'd beaten a goon lance. And then when laughed at for still considering this noteworthy, claimed he would have posted about it before but was busy "taking care of his business and family" in some sort of attempt to jumpjet back to the moral high ground.

And yeah, sometimes we lose. Depending on why we lost sometimes people get yelled at in mumble (if they did something dumb and easily avoided) and sometimes we make note of what it was that beat us and come up with counters for it (and/or steal it). Probably the same as most organised groups, but with more references to butt chugging.

I think a lot of the ruffled feathers and screeching will die down once Newbirds become Oldbirds and people stop playing in terrible mech variants for XP grinding.

Yeah, and we get away from the "butt-chugging our way to victory" mentality. Hopefully we'll move on to another up-and-coming method of piloting mechs, like "waterbirding" - essentially having the sex with a shot glass to mimic the drinking bird, ladies can alter this a bit with "clam drinking" - where she, well, drinks with her clam.

TOP SECRET OBNOXIOUS TEXT WORTHY RELEASE OF LAST NIGHT'S W.O.L. MEETING

Godspeed, fellow anti-goons. If the information in this clip is accurate, we are in for some tweedling and bopping.

Opsec is bad as heck in this organization. We're doomed if even make it to the start of community warfare in 2014 or whenever.

e: Dear PGI I wanna swear on your forums, but I have a pathological hatred of asterisks. This is a problem and I demand you address this issue rather than fixing your interface, nerfing groups, or adding more content.

Welp, I just tried out the game after the new 'patch'.

Thinking I'm going to sit out for a couple weeks. Probably time to finally check out Borderlands2.

Mr. Agincourt:

Please do not despair. PGI has the best people, with the best understanding of how Mechwarrior should be handled, and will fix this bug soon. They will also not introduce any other bugs in fixing these bugs.

They are ace coders, and as a robot, I can assure you, I know what quality looks like.

Keep the Faith, my brothers.

So I can find no way of making the LRMs more over powered right now can any one else. Also has any one had any luck making a MG harassment build this patch i mean if LRMs can take you from full armor to dead before you can react MGs must be good now right?
