Bah, I'd rather have a DRG-1G Dragon, the original Grand, than the -5K. No XL engine to protect.

The construction rule in the TT states that running speed equals 1.5x walking speed... and it is only because there are no half hexes in the TT that we have the rounded numbers. There is no conflict with canon/lore here... just the limitations of a board game. Last time I checked the gameplay video there were no hexes, therefore we don't need the rounded numbers.

I believe that in game terms at least 1 meter is one meter so issues like this shouldn't matter since distance will be as it is IRL and there will be no turns in combat.

I said keep it to TRO speed for a simple reason: As it stands, there's almost no reason to not make a Dragon out of a 55 ton 'Mech, the 60 ton bracket being so far removed from optimal weights. Furthermore, and I'm saying this as a Steiner fan, the Kuritans get saddled with some real dogs. At least give them their calvary heavy that is every bit as fast as it's supposed to be.
