If you don't believe me, try to find the 'submit ticket' option on the website.

I must agree with some people here that if you open the thing to everyone, it's a release, even if you keep the tag "beta" on it.
Remember Gmail, it was beta for years...
...wait, is this going to happen to MWO?
NOOOOOOOOO....

This is release, with an upcoming marketing push, after Community Warfare is put in, which they're calling "Official Launch".

The website is less than 24 hours old. There is a link to "Tickets" in the bottom on the page near the Knowledge Base and FAQ links (next to "We're Hiring"), but it's not functional yet. We're still Beta testing, so please stop lying.

The Beta forums are archived and many of them have been released back into the current forums (visit the guides section, take a look). Game Launch won't happen for a few more months until they get Community Warfare up and Online. We're still in Beta because we're testing new features and the core game-mode has not dropped yet. Please stop lying on the forums.

The game was not Open Beta because you could not go to the MWO website, sign up, and play the game. The term "Closed Beta" means you need an invitation of some sort because they are controlling the number of players. "Open Beta" is where anyone can visit thte site, sign up, and play. Ths is not "Release" as you can clearly see that Community Warfare is not up yet. You don't get to make up your own definitions for words, so please stop lying on the forums.

I play games to have fun, PGI isn't paying me to not have fun while I help them work out the kinks in their game (especially as some of these "kinks" are more glaring and obvious flaws that should have been fixed months ago). Now if they want to start paying me . . . PM me.

i also play video games to have fun but i also do alpha and beta tests to help game companies finish there dev of a game and sometimes it isn't fun. Since this game is still being developed (atm it's like were playing a demo of what they have planed...) and they are being clear it is beta i can't help the fact that releasing it to the public in f2p is game release they are clearly still in beta. So the choice everyone playing this game has is simple help test while playing or wait untill they say it is accually released to play. It is too late for them to fix things that are broken the public has already seen it and formed there opions about it igp will have to deal with the backlash they caused and pgi will take it in the shorts because of it.

Not saying that the few vocal founders shouldn't be heard, just that their opinions won't be in line with the masses of casual players who matter after launch. General whine about simple things, like pug stomps, or repair bills, are more accurate reflections of what's to come. Stuff like canon accuracy, in game voice, or retaining founder cbill earning advantage, shouldn't take higher priority. Majority masses don't care about bt canon, don't have headset, and see earning advantage as unfairness/source of jealesy and reason to ditch the game.

This is my point of saying everyone that posts here should post but they should keep there posts as clear and helpful as posible even if it is a negative. It isn't our job to go through all the points made it is there job as the dev's of this game if they find something that they like great if not then no harm done. for example of accual discusion in the forums you mentioned earning advantage being unfair and causing jealesy. This is your opinion and you made it clearly and to the point. My argument for this is, Since this game messed up and went f2p it will be something they will have to deal with and have to walk a fine line when they do. They have to earn money to keep the lights on charging plp a sub to do this is a smart idea and has proven to work in the f2p market very well. They have looked at other games that have done the same thing and seen it works and are taking the risks here.
