So.

Rogue and Vulpes, I was thinking that, since we're almost a day behind DeMarkus and Baxa (who, since I'm Australian, I keep wanting to call "Bazza" instead) we might skip ahead with a small time jump. I was figuring that, with alcohol not on the shopping list, Jack and Frederick take Bertie out to a pub, get smashed, and watch DeMarkus' fight on the pub tv vidscreen. If Jeremy wanted, Izzy could come too; I was mainly looking at those three since Jack and Fred could lever peer pressure on Bertie, and seem the sorts to do it. We could potentially even make the "pub" Samuel's Tea House to start tying Vodka's character, Voss, into the Rainbow snare...

Thoughts?

Does the Tea House sell booze? Seems an odd pub. But aye, Jack's all in - I've been trying to figure out a way to timejump since Thom threw up his post...But I needed to reply

Hmm, I remembered someone drinking paint stripper-grade alcohol there at one point, but was in this post and just between Samuel and Voss, so they probably don't sell it. Unless Vodka was referring to the Samuel's Public House that Aedris Nova mentioned way back when, but considering they are in different areas of the city, this seems unlikely. Maybe Vulpes and Jack convince Bertie to go out "for a drink" and he convinces them that it should be tea?

Hmm, that could work. Is Vodka interested in coming along? It's probably only worth it to tie in his character, otherwise we could just go straight to the pub.

Bertie stepped across the threshold of Samuel's Tea House. "Now, this is where a real warrior drinks. Quiet, soothing contemplation and a pleasant evening, not a night you'll forget and a morning you'll regret." He seated himself with a good view of the vidscreen. Behind him, Jack scowled and shook his hip flask, hoping to hear the faint slosh of a few remaining dregs. Vulpes sighed, and beckoned the short, blond haired waiter over.
