I think the GMs are trying to avoid railroading us and letting us do the setting up before they give us plot. I'm setting up Mad Jack to join the Rainbow Stables, for now anyway.

That seems to be up to you guys at this point. Right now we're going toward mech stables, if we go Merc that all depends on what the players decide. See I'm more of the "Maintence" GM and Thom is the "Direction" GM. :D

Kevin I give you full leave to guide David's part of the conversation, except to try and arrange you and Dylan's meeting in a discreet place outside of the mech hangar, as I'd hate to have to try and keep you from discovering my Warhammer. Remember is level headed and will take just about anything that you can throw at him.

I'm gonna lay some groundwork for possibly later 'episodes' if the GMs are still planning to use that format, unless they mind at all? Mostly so we all have the option of swapping to doing some merc stuph from the Arena thang we got going right now.

I'm going to RP this fight Mad Jack's about to get into, GMs, how do you want me to play it? Full fight? Part of it? Straight into the thread or send to Gozer to report (If he does such low tier matches)?

Awesome, I'll try and type that up tonight.
I'm afraid my posting is about to become very sporadic, swapping to a spare laptop because my main is on the brink and that's going to take some time. Coupled with two exams next week and 4 programs due at the end of the month, with accompanying reports...It's going to be busy.
Fortunately the spare is the exact same specs - this particular laptop is terrible even by Dell standards, built all wrong to such a degree they couldn't even fix it with a redesign and they stopped selling it. Seems they also stopped collecting broken ones, because when I got my original replaced and then that broke, they never collected the replacement and just sent out another. I got it repaired in my own dime before Christmas on a hunch, and lo and behold, that second one is dying...Lasted 18 months though with nearly no problems, which is more than I'd expected. Still, going to be a long month - but I'll do what I can. If my schedule gets too hectic, I'll just claim Mad Jack's Urbie is down for the count and repairs are taking forever - even if I need to break it to do it!

No worries mate. Dell has basically completely replaced my tower since it was still under warrenty. (Everything is new in it but the HD/DVD and tower itself! :P ) Don't forget the rules only ask for 1 or 2 posts a WEEK so don't stress too much.

If memory serves the first things to be reintroduced doesn't happen till 3035. I'm guessing it took awhile for the copies to get around and then decrypted. Then you got to consider retooling factories to produce the 'new' items, fieldtesting (NAIS students using LBX AC's to play 'duck hunt' inbetween classes)

Sorry I havn't been online the last couple of days. Been sick, and then my dumb laptop went on the fritz yesturday.

As for direction.... I ultimately would like for everyone to meet up and start a merc op, but till I have the free time to manage everything better it's gonna be a bit chaotic. Might be starting to work nights soon so I should have a little more time to spend on here, till then please be understanding and bear with me.

NO!
I spent the last 4 hours researching and writing a post, and accidentally hit back instead of the tab to my email.
It's lost.

I'll try to rewrite.
