I don't have MS office on this PC yet. Just noticed the HD they replace it with is only 250GB instead of 500GB, so I'll have to bring it in and get it replaced today. Using notepad now.
I had intended a shorter post, but I was enjoying myself. It was bloody good too! Hopefully I can salvage it.

EDIT: Good news! I got some of it back. The forum autosaves your posts periodically too, in the box at the bottom of your post there's faint writing - the timestamp of your last autosaved post. Click to view, then again to restore. Most of the set up is there, only lost around 90m of writing. I can recover most of what I lost from memory, I think.

I'm getting the HD replaced today, no point installing new software.

I hate rewriting posts, they never quite fit back together write. The flow is off. I'm sorry for how disjointed this is going to be as the fight kicks off, I just can't get it right again.

EDIT: I had this done so well when I first wrote it, now I'm just disappointed and demotivated. I just can't find the flow again. What was once a paragraph of some of my finest writing to date is now just a couple of lines :)
I'm going to need to leave this for now. I'm exhausted and my head hurts, I've emailed it to myself and will finish it later. It's about 90% up to where I was, starting to get the flow back as the memory of the wording is fresher. About halfway done overall.

NO!
I spent the last 4 hours researching and writing a post, and accidentally hit back instead of the tab to my email.
It's lost.

I'll try to rewrite.

Ouch.

Yeah, kinda stings. There were some bits I managed to get across (I think) really well, but trying to rewrite them I just can't get the flow right. It just feels wrong when I try to just rewrite it, and when I try to remember it I can't.
Bleugh!
Being a perfectionist sucks :o

Google Docs is also a good alternative.

*Shrugs*

Try to type out something tonight after the kids go to bed.

I'll see what I can add. Seems it's hardware/work fun all around. Had to take a day to get my new desktop built. It's the little beasty with the fan noise of an entire datacenter next to me I'm typing this on.

Oh, it has a lot of pain. This will become clear in my next post.

I only played on that map once in my TT days.... Yep, whole lotta pain.

Mines... *cringes* Then I rounded a corner and was looking down the barrel of an LBX20. Fight ended shortly after that. :)

Thanks man.

I think everyone is low in bat right now. Apologies for leave of absence. Have been/am working continously these days. ooi. Rising cost of living, inflation, stagnant wages - the slice of life.

Um, for recent post, wanted to account what Christina had been up to the couple of days. Thom did mention in previous post of his, a killer loose in the streets of International Zone. Either I had Christina track down the serial killer or have her sun-bathing in a bikini on a beach. (Does Solaris City have a beach by the way?) Seeing what happened to Christina in the slums, next time, bikini. :P

Um, tried to play with suspense and dark in this post. Hope it turn out okay.

Okay, here's the inspiration to Crowley's Road - Long Live Ozzy! *air guitar* :(

And here's to work. Endless mind-numbing, body-brusing work. As the bounty hunter Jubal Early once said, "What's life without work?" keep floating in space Early...

(ode to work)

(You need to laugh when you're exhuasted. That's the only way to get through all this. Am feeling dark right now.)

I know the feeling Azman. Look forward to reading your latest post when I'm done my exam on Tuesday, it'll be straight to the offlicense then back to the flat when I'm done. I spotted a rather nice whiskey...somewhere...about 2 months ago...
I smells me an adventure.
But time for that later.
I'm out for tonight, and probably won't be online before Tuesday evening (GMT). Wish me luck!

In one of the preivous post someone mentioned murders, I think it was Death Blossom, (Who Thom/DeMarkus would think is working for Kali/Romano Liao. But I could be wrong and it was someone else...) mentioned cutting people up with a vibroblade in an alley... just figured that the local garrison might investigate if things were really bloody. Besides it gives them something to do.

Was gonna post a little more, but figured I'd let Rick have a chance to interact with me... I'm probably gonna have my dude staying in the mechwarehouse. That or some boarding house in Cathay... not sure yet.

Waiting for Kevin to relieve me of his stable guard, as for you Az, I wanted to get that effer with my Elemental buddies, but since you took him down artfully, great post.

And hey Gozer, let's meet up after the matches. I'm to tired to drag the days out in between.
