Hey there, George. I sent you fan email a few years back when I thanked you for giving MW4 its most memorable characters (about a dozen different voices if I recall). You replied that you hoped you would be the next iteration of the game (or any work for that matter. You mentioned that work was thin in those days).

Yes you are remembered and thanks again. Since you are here, is it crazy to assume that you are part of the MWO talent list?

My voice workload has definitely improved and I'm still doing quite a bit of work in video games which are always fun. But no, I haven't been contacted by anyone regarding this game. I simply was following a link from facebook and found my name being kindly bandied about in the forums so joined up so I could say, "Thanks". :D

Well, George, I think by now the developers know that we want you to be there for Solaris (especially now that they seemed to hint at it pretty strongly in the recent information).

It just wouldn't be the same!

George posts out of the blue

Dude, whoa.

Awww, I hope there's something we could do to convince them to bring him back for Solaris.

You're right.

So it'll be DUNCAN FISHER'S DADDY, Hermann Fisher! Whose son sounds and speaks exactly like him!

And we'll get commentary about how his son is doing too. Heck, why not make Duncan an NPC pilot in the Solaris matches, often using any mech with an AC/5?
Actually, if they did a NPC for him. I could just imagine him talking smack and "attacking" you with language since weapon fire doesn't seem to do "anything".

George, I'm glad to hear things are good. It's a shame you haven't been asked to do any MWO work. That makes sense though since this game will be online-play only with no solo game content where characters need voices. Maybe PGI will make promos, ads, and storyline updates that need familiar voice talent.

Has-been' Fisher? Never! lol Dont be a stranger. Youre a celebrity here.

I figure, if by 3066/3067 Duncan Fisher is a retired Solaris Jock he's probably mid 50s at that point. This game's going to be set in 3049, so about 17-18 years earlier. Which would put him in his mid 30s at the time of this game. Old enough to have hit his peak and started to decline, young enough to still be in the cockpit. So maybe he's still on Solaris running a training school for young up-and-comers looking to make it big in the arena.

Please: Give us a Fisher Mute button.

Honestly, he was awesome...but as awesome as he was, he was sometimes excessively ANNOYING. Teamspeak + Duncan Fisher = "SHUT UP, FISHER!"
